GEM Energy has helped more than 250 customers save an average of 15 to 20 percent on their annual energy costs.
Our expertise comes from a deep portfolio of solutions, services and technologies, including:
- On-site power generation
- Utility procurement
- Lighting and mechanical system upgrades
- Design/build capabilities to lead energy productivity projects from construction to commissioning
Consider Energy Performance Contracting (EPC)
An EPC helps your business meet or exceed financial hurdles for return on investment, mitigate risk, and gain performance-based energy savings to fund needed facility improvements. At the start of our EPC, GEM Energy will identify how your business consumes energy. Then we’ll recommend measures to immediately begin saving money, as well as long-term investment and improvements for better operation of your facility’s systems.
GEM Energy’s key performance indicators include:
- Cost per square foot
- Energy intensity
- Greenhouse gas risk
- ENERGY STAR rating
Cost and energy savings do not have to equate with large capital investments — they can come from better operation of building systems. A 15 to 20 percent reduction is the typical savings realized through an EPC.
