Tom Schneider Promoted to Preconstruction Manager, Design-Build at Rudolph Libbe Inc.

 

Tom Schneider has been promoted to Preconstruction Manager Design-Build at construction firm Rudolph Libbe Inc., one of The Rudolph Libbe Group of Companies.

Schneider, who began his career at RLI as a Project Engineer and has 29 years of experience at the company, previously was Senior Preconstruction Leader and a Senior Preconstruction Estimator.

In his new role, Schneider will be responsible for maintaining RLI’s Design-Build process and Design-Build preconstruction project oversight, RLI Vice President Matt Arnold said.

“Tom’s extensive experience in design-build along with his record of successful preconstruction management of many of our most recognizable projects makes him the right choice for this high responsibility position,” Arnold said.

Schneider’s preconstruction experience includes all First Solar projects in Northwest Ohio, Alabama and Louisiana, the ProMedica Neurosciences Center in Toledo, The Mercy Perrysburg Hospital Complex, the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, the in-progress construction of a new Kimberly-Clark facility in Warren, Ohio, and the recently completed expansion of Ford Motor Co.’s Ohio Assembly Plant in Sheffield, Ohio, which recently won Engineering News-Record’s top award as the best manufacturing project in the Midwest.

Schneider is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America and the Construction Management Association of America and holds a certificate in Healthcare Construction from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering of the American Hospital Association. He is a former board member of the Uptown Association in downtown Toledo.

Schneider holds degrees from the University of Toledo, and Bowling Green State University, and a certificate in health care construction from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering.

Schneider has three children and resides in Toledo.
