Walbridge, Ohio — Nick Baer has been promoted to vice president of GEM Inc.’s HVAC and facility management service operations, President Steve Johnson announced today.

Baer began his career at Rudolph Libbe Group in 2006 as a project engineer for Site Management. He subsequently held the role of operations manager, served as the leader of the GEM Facility Management group and became general manager of the Service Group in 2010. In that time, Service has experienced unprecedented success, both as an individual department and as an important part of RLG’s “Keep Customers Forever” strategy, GEM President Steve Johnson said.

In his role as vice president, Baer will continue to lead GEM Service and Facility Management while supporting the Rudolph Libbe Group leadership with long-term strategic activities.

Baer is active in the community and serves as a member of the Lake Local Schools Board of Education and the Sun Federal Credit Union’s Advisory Board.
