Joe Pesci has been promoted to Vice President of GEM Inc., Senior Vice President Scott Kepp announced.
In his role, Pesci, formerly the Manager of Mechanical/Piping/Insulation, will continue to support the organization’s goals, including sustaining GEM’s growth, improving operational excellence and preparing people to succeed.
“We are excited to move Joe into a senior leadership position,” Kepp said. “Joe has been involved with just about every major GEM project. He has been a key part of our past success and know his leadership and experience in the industry will foster growth in the future.”
Pesci began his GEM career as a Project Engineer in 2005. He was promoted to Project Manager/Estimator in 2006 and promoted to Operations Manager for the Insulation Division in 2014, a position he held while retaining his project manager duties. He was promoted to the Mechanical/Piping/Insulation post in 2015.
Pesci has long been involved in the industry and serves on the Mechanical Contractors Association of America’s Board of Directors. He is the current vice chairman of the MCAA’s Project Management Education Committee and has also been an instructor for MCAA, teaching multiple Institute for Project Management courses.
Pesci is active in the community, serving as a member of the Toledo Zoo Development Board, The Cocoon Development Board and the Perrysburg Schools Business Advisory Council.
Pesci, his wife, Julie, and their two children reside in Perrysburg, Ohio.
