Ashley Shupe Stenger, preconstruction leader at Rudolph Libbe Inc., is among 250 nominees for Toledo’s 20 Under 40 Awards. Each year, the program showcases 20 dynamic young leaders, all under the age of 40, in northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

At Rudolph Libbe, Ashley especially enjoys working on projects for non-profits.  Outside work, she also donates her time and business skills to benefit the community.  As a member and president-elect of the Oak Harbor Rotary Club, she works on fundraisers and events. She helped organize the Rally for the Cure Golf Outing at Oak Harbor Golf Course, and as a member of the Port Clinton Business Professional Women’s Ways and Means Committee, helped plan Port Clinton’s Star Spangled Squirt Gun Run.

Before joining Rudolph Libbe Group in 2010, Ashley served in the Ohio Air National Guard (OANG) as a civil engineering assistant, working on construction projects from Arizona to Iraq.  While in the OANG, she earned a Master of Architecture and MBA from Kent State University. As a graduate assistant in the Environmental Technology Lab and Architecture Studio, she mentored and taught students about sustainability and the built environment.
