Lauren Ray, business development manager for GEM Energy’s Ithaca, NY, office, was appointed to serve on the board for the Northeast Clean Heat and Power Initiative (NECHPI). Lauren has been with GEM Energy since 2012 and involved with NECHPI for the last two years.

While serving on the board, Lauren will help expand the group’s membership to include end-users of combined heat and power (CHP), design engineers and other CHP vendors. She will also assist in planning NECHPI’s annual conference.

GEM Energy, a member of the Rudolph Libbe Group, serves the upstate NY region with CHP solutions using Capstone Microturbines.  Lauren educates owners and facility managers in the healthcare, higher education and manufacturing sectors on energy efficient systems to reduce costs, improve resilience and lower emissions.
