Christian Baldenegro and Matt Horvat, members of the GEM Energy Facility Management Team, spent two days repairing the deck space on the side of The Cocoon’s building, as well as sprucing up the main visitor entrance. Both areas were in desperate need of repair. Located in Bowling Green, Ohio, The Cocoon provides emergency and advocacy services and shelter to victims of sexual and domestic abuse.

Joe Pesci of GEM Inc., volunteers on The Cocoon’s development committee and requested help from GEM Energy’s facilities team which sprang into action with donated materials and labor.

As a non-profit organization, The Cocoon cannot adequately express our gratitude to the entire Rudolph Libbe Group of companies for not only quickly completing the job, but also providing the staffing and materials. With community partners like RLG, we are able to use funds raised through private donations to be put back into providing services and programming for survivors and their families.
