The Hilton Garden Inn was a key component of the Levis Commons’ master plan. Once Rudolph Libbe Inc. completed the mixed-use retail, entertainment and restaurant portion of the project, we were chosen to build the hotel which anchors the development.

Located within the Town Center at Levis Commons, the 107,000-square-foot Hilton Garden Inn is a seven-story hotel with 184 rooms, a restaurant, workout facility, swimming pool and boardroom. The attached meeting center is 25,000 square feet with a 10,000-square-foot ballroom. The hotel and center serve Northwest Ohio businesses and tourists who are looking for an upscale and convenient location.

RLI was a design-assist partner with the hotel owner, Gateway Hospitality. RLI worked extensively with Gateway Hospitality assisting in scope development, scheduling, and constructibility reviews to ensure the success of the project early in the planning stages.

This is one of the smoothest projects that we’ve done, and this is our 15th hotel. And not only in terms of controlling cost to budget, but in the organization and cleanliness of the site. The schedule has been right on target. This is one of the first hotels I’ve worked with that is ahead of schedule. It’s been very well managed and I’m very pleased with everything being done there, including the quality of work and professionalism.
