Rudolph Libbe Properties and Toledo developer Kott Enterprises are partnering to execute Phase 1 of Springfield Crossing North and South near the planned Dorr Street interchange in Springfield Township.

Phase 1 of the North development will include a commercial complex with hotels, restaurants, senior housing, a multi-tenant retail center and a gas station on over 25 acres just northwest of the interchange. Phase 1 of the South development will include a light industrial business park.

Rudolph Libbe Inc. and GEM Inc. are contracted to build Phase 1 of Springfield Crossing North and South.

Phase 1 construction on both North and South developments is expected to begin in early 2020 and be complete in 2021, the same timeframe as the new interchange.

“Our development will provide an anchor for economic growth on our metropolitan area’s west side. RLI and GEM craftspeople will be self-performing much of the work,” says Rod Bowe, vice president, real estate, RLP.

Already sold are a multi-tenant retail property fronting on the north side of Dorr, a building site on Dorr Street’s south side and one commercial lot along a side street south of Dorr.
