The Town Center at Levis Commons is Perrysburg’s largest retail development and the hub of Northwest Ohio’s first “lifestyle center,” offering upscale dining, shopping and entertainment. The $54 million project features 13 uniquely beautiful buildings constructed simultaneously on 35 acres.

Rudolph Libbe Inc. served as CM/GC for the project. The meticulous schedule made efficient use of a large team — more than 245 construction workers, including the entire city of Toledo’s finishing union, as well as 26 subcontractors and 31 vendors. Also planned into the schedule was the delivery of imported materials. Precise coordination ultimately saved a month in the schedule.

RLI was actively engaged with the owner and architectural team to develop a program that met strict architectural requirements and at the same time worked within client’s budget. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology on heavy equipment and surveying equipment reduced cutting, filling and surveying time by 70 percent and provided accuracy within one inch.

The project had numerous unique features, including:

  • Radius walls
  • A cone roof with hand-cut shingles
  • A prefabricated dome roof
  • Granite and limestone
  • Stamped concrete
  • Decorative lighting
  • A prefabricated fountain

The Town Center at Levis Commons is a project of historic proportion. The positive impact of this project for city of Perrysburg and citizens of Northwest Ohio will be felt for a very long time. Your company has changed my life and the opportunities for my company. I find myself constantly reminding people that this project is not mine alone. We accomplished this effort together, and I will not forget.
