Rudolph Libbe Group has established the Hussien Y. and Dr. Randa M. Shousher Engineering Scholarship Fund to benefit incoming freshmen in The University of Toledo College of Engineering.

The scholarship fund will supplement tuition, on-campus housing and other expenses for an engineering student who completes the Rocket Engineering Prep Program (REPP) or a freshman with high financial need who could not otherwise attend college.

The Rudolph Libbe Group founded the scholarship in honor of Hussien Shousher’s 25 years of service with GEM Inc., including 18 years as president of the Toledo-area specialty contractor. The scholarship also honors Shousher’s wife, Randa, an audiologist who works with HearCare, which provides hearing screening and treatment for low-income people in Lucas County and for children abroad.

“This scholarship honors Hussien and Randa for their hard work and contributions to their professions and the community,” said Bill Rudolph, chairman of the Rudolph/Libbe Group.  “Hussien and Randa have a long history of helping others succeed, and this gift is intended to support that legacy.”
