Red Spot’s Detroit-area facility hadn’t been renovated in nearly 25 years. The office was due for a facelift – not only for customers, suppliers and other visitors, but for employees of the global specialty coatings manufacturer.

Red Spot embarked on Phase 1 of its renovation project, a 3,500-square-foot update that created a contemporary professional setting. A new common area with a high-gloss epoxy floor offers casual seating just inside the renovated circular lobby/vestibule. A new glassed-in executive conference room makes the most of natural light, and employees are using a new modern, efficient kitchenette.

Rudolph Libbe Group’s southeast Michigan office was chosen as design/build contractor and managed the team of subcontractors, while our own craftspeople performed demolition, carpentry, doors and hardware.

Our offices hadn’t been renovated since 1993. It was time to update our office for customers, vendors and our employees. Rudolph Libbe and its subcontractors did a very good job. You were attentive and you stuck by your promises. Customers, suppliers and our employees from other facilities are loving it.
