After acquiring another company and its workforce, Advanced Integration Technology (AIT) needed to update its 20-year-old Detroit-area office. A modern, professional look was important, but AIT also needed a contractor that could quickly make the required renovations and not disrupt operations.

Headquartered in Texas, AIT is the world’s largest provider of automation, factory integration and tooling solutions for the global aerospace, defense and space launch vehicle industries.

The project began with a 65,000-square-foot build-out in the shop area with 30-foot-tall walls and special bi-parting doors, and a 25,000-square-foot remodel of offices on the second floor.

Then the project quickly expanded to include a new HVAC system and a first-floor information technology room.

The Rudolph Libbe Group southeast Michigan office served as the design/build contractor and provided a full-time project superintendent to manage all aspects of the job on site. Our own craftspeople performed demolition, excavation and concrete work.

You met every demand from AIT. It was a very tight schedule. We pulled the trigger very rapidly on some of these projects. You were thorough, fast and responsive. If there was a problem, it was dealt with very rapidly.
